As an Access Planner at Virgin Media, this consists of providing new circuits to business customers via interaction with contractors and internal colleagues for a complete end to end process.
Throughout my qualification, I've gained more knowledge within my functional skills around Maths, English and ICT.
The programme has been great, very hands on and very well thought out. Dedication and time from my mentor and qualification mentor has been excellent throughout.
As a Virgin Media employee, I feel very empowered to do my job and feel as though I have a strong input to making decisions within my department only just over 12 months starting.
The programme has been very well structured, designed and thought out. There has been constant communication between the apprentice team and myself making sure I've had targets set and how to achieve them.
Support has been received at any point needed. Weekly training days were set up from the start to concentrate on the qualification side of the apprenticeship. This has really helped my development within Virgin Media.
Virgin Media has provided me with the tools and training to do my job from day one. I would recommend this company to anyone.
My salary has been very good from the start, well above a standard apprentice wage. Now I'm coming to the end of my apprenticeship A further salary increase will come into place which is very good for the role I have against competitors.
Team building opportunities are regular, outside of work meals, gatherings and events are brilliant and well thought out by Virgin Media.
Yes
Virgin Media is a brilliant place to work for, they have their employees right at the front. The benefits provided as standard are excellent and you can even upgrade to more for very little. The salary is also well placed within the market.
Give it your best shot, Virgin are a very different company who just want you to 'Be Yourself'. Virgin Media are a brilliant company to work for and would recommend them to anyone.
