as an apprentice my job role changes every three months so that I would get an overall vision of all the departments within the company.
I have learned lots of new skills and achieved a PEO with in my apprentice ship I also am currently working towards a HND in college
I enjoy this program a lot as I get meet new people and work on different projects within the company but I don't like the SVQ although it is a necessary part of the apprenticeship I feel that the SVQ is a bit unnecessary some times.
I feel valued within the company as I don't just get the rubbish jobs the no-one want I get important jobs as well. The people are friendly and help me out when I am stuck or if I mess up
The program is well organised putting you through the varies departments although it could be more flexible to allow people to chose there own path threw the company departments as we don't go through them all
I have received a lot of training as I got training in college and when I go into a department (If I need training for that department). I also get support when I need it in the department.
I receive a lot of support from my employer as my employer as they are willing to sit down and talk about the troubles that I am having and help me work through them
The salary does not meet living costs but rises as I go through the apprenticeship program. I make what I get last and it is a great pay or an apprenticeship. I would say is a good pay considering O am an apprentice.
yes there are many opportunities for us the do outside of work and work always supports us and encourages us the take the opportunities. I have found some of them great fun also we tend to do charity events as well and rese money for our selected charity.
Yes
It is a great company to work for and I have enjoyed my time hear and I think that they could as well
if you are applying the look into the company and have some knowledge on what the company does and what you could be doing. Be confident if you have an interest in the stuff that we work on they will be impressed and they will be impressed if you know about the company as well.
