Proccessing Invoices and raising invoices, Producing journals, looking after the plant book, producing month end reports, aiding the admin staff with E1.
My excel knowledge has been expanded - I am now able to use many formuoas and functions. I have also developed my use of business language. I would also say my organisational skills have improved.
I fully enjoy studying with Kaplan Financial - they have excellent support avaialble 24/7. I have also met some other students who will be life long friends.
I feel valued as a team meber but also under appreciated. I have worked really hard in my 2 and a hapf years with the company taking on a lot of responsibility while studying, and neither have slipped, yet my pay does not reflect this.
Extremely well- It has flowed effectively allowing plenty of study time before exams, howeverpart way through level 4 the cardiff centre shut down meaning travelling to Bristol to studdy.
I am fully supported by Kaplan - As well as being able to email your tutor direct they have lots of study materail available and student forums which I found very useful.
Support is available when needed and there was opportunity for study leave. At month end how ever it was tough with exams as my more critical work is completed in the month end period.
Travel costs are covered by Kaplan. My salary is good for an Accounts Assistant however I perfom a lot more jobs than in my job description so I fell under paid.
I have not really searched for other jobs as I enjoy working for Costain, however I am aware there a lot of opportunities available with the AAT qualificatiion.
Yes
Generally the pay is fair and they have great benefits such as copany cars annd the share save scheme. They are also very happy to support staff in studying.
It is important to show you are possitive and willing to work hard and develop your skills to further your career. You must also be willing to travel for your work as jobs are on contract terms.
