Student, then intern in market leadership. Learning about EY and industry, then learning about marketing plans. Interacted with head of Marketing Services and his colleague being given workshops with them. External contact with clients at the lunch and other EY employees in other countries. Responsible for group projects and individual research. Typical day included learning and team building then individual research.
Full insight into accountancy industry. Transferable skills (presenting, etc.) and business writing.
Met many great students and employees, was given real work to do and sufficient amounts of it. Enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of EY. Exceeded my expectations and it was probably the highlight of my summer.
Was treated with equality, and was felt welcomed by colleagues, students, clients and managers. Was given mostly independent theoretical work.
Clear schedule given and everything went to plan. Well structured in every way. Was encouraged to work with everyone.
Have not yet met since programme so cannot fully pass judgement. In our two meetings we discussed studies and careers. Attitude was great and is willing to help.
I was treated very well by everyone and my questions were answered all the time.
Not much costs were incurred apart from tube travel and lunch money in the 1st week. Otherwise I was well paid and fed especially during the 1st two weeks.
We were told about the opportunity but because we were only temporary there was not much point of us having access to them. However from what I heard there are many opportunities to get involved with.
Yes
Best employer I have had so far.
Be honest, try your best, and don't be afraid to be friendly.
