I am employed as an external auditor, going out to clients on site and testing controls and data with client interaction involved
Yes, I have been forced to improve my time management skills as the workload is higher than that of school. I am more confident, and have learned many job-specific skills
It is a challenging programme, which I find interesting when learning new aspects of the job, although the workload can be quite difficult to deal with
I feel the employees here are very accommodating, trust me to do my job and make me feel part of the team
There is a good structure to my learning, with exams regularly and planned well in advance
My training provider, BPP, provides a lot of its support online which can sometimes be difficult to learn from, however means help is always readily accessible
Mazars LLP are effective at providing help and information as and when it's needed - we have 'buddies' to answer questions however everyone is willing to help where possible
As I am living at home, I receive a suitable salary which still allows me to run a car to drive to work, as well as fund a decent social life
The company has set up networking events designed for young professionals, very useful to attend

They are a well established firm with a good ethos and a concern for its employees as individuals
I would recommend spending time researching the company and how it sees its employees and how its employees approach work. This is a fundamental part about what makes Mazars LLP different, its focus on people
