Technical apprentice I will be provided different tasks through each placement by my placement manager, these tasks can vary.
I recently gained the basic skills of soldering during my time as being an apprentice. I have also earned my PEO.
Working as part of the Finmeccanica is a very enjoyable experience, it is a very welcoming company and there is many opportunities within the company. My expectations were high before I came into the company and they haven't let them down.
As an apprentice I am made to feel very appreciated from everyone. The company take a strong role in supporting the apprentices.
My programme is very organised and structured, from the minute I began and it will till I finish.
I receive constant support from my provider, I am constantly reminded of that support and how available it is. I can approach many people within the company if I were looking for support, whether that be a placement manager, my manager or an older apprentice.
Up to my current situation I haven't required much support however at any time I have it has been there.
My salary covers all my requirements such as travel, living and social and more.
Through Finmeccanica there are many opportunities outside the workplace, in a few months I will be taking part in hosting a science fair for school children, there are also many charitable events that I can take part in regularly.
Yes

Never forget the standard that Finmeccanica will be expecting, they expect the best so ensure to not leave any vital information out, and don't be afraid to be to confident of yourself during the interviewing process.
