My job changes from day-to-day. This is because I am a float secretary. This means so one day I could be in one department, then the next day I could be in a different office with another team.
In the last 6 months I feel like I have learnt so much about both the world of work, different job roles, different skills and myself. One of the biggest skill I have learnt and developed over the last 6 months is networking. This is because in my job role I meet so many different people on a daily basis. Therefore having good networking and communication skills is vital in this role. I have also learnt a lot in terms of my qualification. Things I have learnt from the qualification include different attitudes to work such as having good work ethics.
I really enjoy this apprenticeship programme. This is because I am always given different jobs to do every day which is what makes it so diverse. I also have a really supportive team around me that I know will help me if I have any queries or need advice.
I feel extremely valued by JLL. This is because when I work in different teams all the time, the PA's and secretaries who need a lot of help value support staff like me a lot.
I feel that the programme is very well structured and organized. This is because I know that if I need any type of support then I will be able to get it quite easily. My manage also allows me some time to do college work. This is very helpful because juggling both work and course work can be difficult at times.
I have received a lot of help from my training provider. I know that if I need help then I am able to access support and guidance from them.
I was told on my first day that my manager and my team would always help and support me through out our time together, and this is defiantly true. They are all very helpful and I know that if I had a issue with anything I could ask any of them to help me.
I think the salary defiantly meets my costs. Because JLL pay for my travel as well it enables me to save money for things such as driving lessons.
There are so many opportunities in and outside of work. There is an apprenticeship network which is external to JLL which enables us to meet people the same age as us to get together and talk about their experiences.
Yes
Because it has given me such good opportunities as well as being able to meet so many new people.
To be confident and try to stand out from the crowd. This will give you the edge over other candidates. Also to do their research. Knowing about JLL before applying will only be an advantage to you.
