I am a Business Support Assistant in the Performance & Business Management team in the Payments Deparment. I act as a PA for my line manager arranging meetings and managing her diary. I also help to support the rest of the team with any tasks that they have. This can be from sorting through spreadsheets, helping to arrange events and also creating documents.
I am developing ym diary management skills
I am yet to start my coursework side of the apprenticeship but I really enjoy working for RBS and the all the different experiences and having the opportunity to meet and work with important people in the business
I feel valued, the team have made me feel welcome and that I am there to help, improve and give my ideas.
So far it seems organised but I am yet to start the programme fully
I have not yet started my apprenticeship with BPP
So far I have received a lot of support from my employer and the team. They are also there to help if I need it
It meets my costs well
I like the opportunities RBS gives for outside of work. The competitive salary means that I can do more things outside of work as well as the RBSelect scheme. Also meeting new people in the business means that I can meet with them after work aswell making new connections and friends
Yes
Its a great environment to work in and you are given so many opportunities, everyone is friendly and supportive. The salary is competitive compared to other apprenticeships and you really do feel valued.
Make sure that your appliction is to a good standard and you are prepared for any phone or face to face interviews.
