  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my role most when I am out and about visiting clients, shadowing the audit team or following a new client with the Business Development department. These are all goals in my personal development plan to try not the be just cooped up in the office 24/7 and see every aspect of Invoice Finance.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by NatWest?
  • At the moment there is movement within the team with colleagues leaving so my role has become even more important with me carrying out tasks usually performed by those above me until replacement staff are found. This is fantastic training and I can see how much of an impact I am having on the team and feel valued.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is very much down to what comes in and needs doing on the day. I do have a development plan which I follow and that includes going out to meetings and perfo4ming critical tasks such as retrieving financial information from our clients. But apart from this it is down to what the clients need doing and the work required to fulfil their requests.

  • 9. Would you recommend NatWest to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • The job opportunities in the bank are never ending and there is 100% something for everyone. Also the footing the apprenticeship puts you on in the sector is unrivalled and will help anybody in their career goals.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NatWest?
  • I would advise them to try their absolute best when applying as out of over 5000 applicants there were only 250 jobs. Also don't presume you won't get in purely for your intellect, as long as you can manage your workloads, have good customer service skills and always make the right for the consumer then you can't go wrong.
