On a day to day basis I do a lot of admin and communication with customers. I work a lot with their accounts which involves maths while working closley with a relationship manager. However recently I have been doing a lot of revision for my PBC exam next week.
Yes I have learnt a lot of new skills while also developing those I already have. I am a lot mpre confident on the phone and am getting more used to using the systems every day. I have been struggling with certain elements of the job but every one here is happy to help and make sure I understand.
I love the work environment, it's a nice modern building and the company is great. I enjoy the progamme because I find the work interesting, I have always been interested in the business environment so I enjoy it here a lot.
I do feel a valued part of the team. I was made to feel very welcome (especially my my manager [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions]) and they don't fail to keep me busy and helping no matter how important the task.
The programme has been very well structured by the learning provider BPP who have sent me a learning plan telling me what's due when and how long I have to complete everything.
I have had a lot of support, we had 6/7 weeks on on line lessons to work us through the course and I have had phone calls with a tutor to monitor my progress. Both of these people I can contact when ever by phone or email if i need help or to have something explained etc.
My employer has been very supportive, It was nice to travel up to Birmingham to meeet other apprentices and they want us all to 'network' and so has created almost a inner support group amonst our selves.
I am currently on a very competative salary, It's everything I need and more. Living about 30 miles away from the office my car expences are high but the wage is more than i need.
I don't really understand this question. In relation to it preparing me for the outside world?? If this is the case I'd say I communicate better with people as I am more confident. The wage also allows me to have opportunites (day trips/ holiday) I couldn't of afforded before.
Yes
I couldn't fault it... You get a qualification, a great job and a very healthy salary. There are also unlimited opportunites to progress and also to transfer, if you're living arrangemnts change and you have to move to the other side of the country then chances are you could do the same job from a different location.
Stick with the application process, there are so many stages and it's very long winded but it is definatly worth it! I can't fault my job and I have no regrets not giong to university.
