I support the relationship managers in their day to day tasks, which includes for example refunding any charges, answering client enquiries and investigating problems which arise.
I have learnt and developed many skills, such as organisation skills, problem solving being able to communicate effectively, write professional emails. I have learnt how to adapt to different environments and people.
Very much, I feel very supported in my day to day duties. I am challenged with new and exciting things. Everyday is different day in which I learn something new.
I feel like I contribute to my team and help out especially during busy periods. RBS has a number of ways to make me feel appreciated such as a 25% value account.
The strucuture is well organised it helps develop your skills in steps and it offers the neccessary help through these steps. It also sets aside times to learn which is very important as you gain a professional qualification whilst you complete your apprenticeship.
BBP contacts us through email every week and has help close by. They have been very helpful in the past with any issues arising such as technical ones which I had dealt with.
A lot of support, if there are things you dont understand Members of the team will sit with you to go through it. They are always willing to help and are very understanding of your role.
Its a great package one of the best apprenticeship packages I have come across. it offers a number of other benefits along with your pay such as life cover and pension contributions.
I have many opportunities that I am allowed to be involved in especially with my apprenticeship in which I can develop skills such a publicspeaking.

It is a great way to kick start a career a banking, also a way to develop new skills and develop on already existing ones. A way to meet and socialise with new people.
