I am working as an audit assistant within the audit department at Mazars. I report to my audit seniors and managers but get given responsibility to undertake whole sections of the audit. I work on a number of different clients throughout the year including education and Privately owned businesses.
I have learnt many new skills including auditing and professional behaviour.
I have really enjoyed my programme and the work I have been given and am looking forward to entering the next part of my career.
I fell valued by Mazars and think that I am treated like the other members of the team and have the same responsibility as the graduates.
I have set college dates and courses that I attend and I have the option of certain modules that I can take to complete my studies.
The training provider we use BPP are very good and provide students with good support and help outside the classroom.
My employer is very supportive and will always give time off work to attend college and sit exams.
I feel that the first year salary wasn't that competitive compared to other firms across Bristol. However after receiving a pay rise in my second year I feel my salary reflects the work I do.
We are encouraged to attend social events outside of work and the firm will pay for a number of BADCAS events for the trainees.
Yes
I have really enjoyed the work and the other trainees are brilliant people who are all very similar and we get on very well.
Be honest in your application and try and be yourself in your interview.
