Software engineer, Programming, Variety of IT roles, Consulting..... more to come. Projects lined up for this year. Working with huge varieties of companies all over Britain and potentially further.
Gone from having barely any programming experience before hand, to using it for my full time job now. Get a sponsored degree and valuable training throughout. I've learnt multiple programming languages, ways of working. Software craftsmanship. How to develop personal skills
Couldn't ask for a better opportunity here. The culture is friendly and pretty much everyone is more than willing to support you throughout. More than what I expected, cannot complain in the slightest
To be given the masses of support everyday, and to be seen as a full time employee rather than 'just an apprentice' makes me feel valued. My manager knows the ins and out of his team and can help provide support and roles for anything I need
The training provided is very fast paced but teaches you the basics of what you need to know. Support from friends in the business or even senior staff is always viable. If you know of anyone with free-time, there's usually someone there who's willing to help.
Training advisor's work with you and have meetings every 6 weeks to help with the completion of the Apprenticeship Seem very enthusiastic and are always willing to help with any problems you may face internally and externally of he business
Manager - any questions, straight to him, always willing to help . Support through training making sure everything was running smoothly. Always wants the bets for his apprentices.
For an 18 year old starting on 16,000 a year and not stuck on an apprenticeship wage, I'm massively impressed. With the potential to earn pay rises through progression of the apprenticeship, social needs are more than met. The living costs when working on project are mainly paid for too. Travel costs are all dependant on where your nearest base location is, but if it becomes too much of a problem, working from home is an option
From the IT Point of view, webinars, meetings, conference calls are very frequent and open for anyone to explore. My department is very active outside of work, providing social events for everyone to get on.

One of, if not the best Level 4 IT Apprenticeship going. Support throughout, good salary, masses of opportunity, amazing career starter
Stay confident, have a real passion for IT. Having programming experience, and being able to show it also a massive benefit
