involves talking to people on a daily basis and dealing with requests both internally and externally.
I have learnt many skills and roles and have recently just finished my apprenticeship level 3 qualification. I have also been on courses to help develop my knowledge as well as developing my presentation skills.
I enjoy the team I work with and majority of the time the work that I do. I feel like I am a valuable member to the team.
Fujitsu are always trying to get me to improve and look after me as best as possible. I feel like a valued member and that I am needed at work for their benefit as well as mine.
With regards to First4Skills and the qualification - I would describe it as the opposite to organised! I had 3 lecturers, the visits were infrequent and the work I had left was not actually known until the last minute
I was made to research on the internet for my qualification and was not specifically taught anything by First4Skills. In the end the lecturer gave me a lot of support when the qualification needed to be in however the main 6-9months before hand was not a lot of support.
I receive a lot of support from Fujitsu whether it is from fellow apprentices and graduates, my supervisor or line manager and/or people higher up. Everywhere around the business is supportive and is willing to help me out
Yes it works well - obviously I'd like more but who wouldn't say that?!
I attend external events with customers and also as part of our apprenticeship/graduate group we have external contacts with schools etc as well as helping the local community
Yes
Fujitsu have looked after me very well and given me the opportunity to begin and hopefully progress my working career. I am very happy here and enjoy coming to work. Fujitsu have also been interested in me by encouraging me to get on courses/develop myself for the future and I will always be grateful for that through my working career.
I would say to be yourself, be confident in your own ability but do not be afraid to hold your hands up and want help. Try to get involved as you can and put as much into the apprenticeship as much as you want back.
