Various placements, job role is constantly changing between departments. It is essential to gain as much knowledge as possible from each placement
Completed a PEO course, greatly developed my own core skills. I now also have a better ability to complete excel spreadsheets. I have learned about supportability
Greatly. The company name and role carries weight when telling someone your job. it is a great feeling knowing you are doing something sought after by many people.
Greatly. They constantly show how far apprentices have gone in the company, and how hard work is proportional to a good career path in the future.
vast amounts of work have been done to ensure the apprenticeship scheme in finmeccanica runs as smoothly as possible. You have your future placements mapped out up to 1 year in advance.
As much as needed. Constantly surrounded by high level engineers who are willing to help with any task the apprentice may be struggling with.
you are introduced to the key people in your apprenticeship very early on. This allows a great relationship to be built between the apprentice and their peers.
The starting salary for the apprentices is great however it doesn't increase vastly. this leads me to thing that although it starts higher than many apprenticeships, it may be surpassed in the future.
Managers are constantly promoting extra-circular activities that support the company. This also allows you to represent yourself as part of the company
