My job title is a Production Support Analyst. This is level 2 Application Support, which involves providing proactive and reactive support to the business users to ensure we meet the regulatory SLA's in place. This will include; Responding to user quires Batch Monitoring Raising Incident and problem tickets Collaborate with regional teams to evolve firm wide best practice Proactive notifications on system status and incidents
I have learnt many new skills that I hadn't had before such as using SQL Server and UNIX I have also attended many internal online and classroom courses on how to develop myself as a person and how to progress in the company
I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of my programme, my team are great to work with, the company is very supportive and has great culture and ethics.
I get the feeling I'm highly valued at Nomura from the feedback I receive from my manager and also other members of staff I have worked with.
I have found the programme to be very well organised, I am always given information well in advanced such as training dates, course work.
A lot, they are there whenever I have a question or issue
I get all the support I need from Nomura, my manager is very helpful and I can always rely on HR to answer any issues I may have.
