My job title is Relationship Managers Assistant and my daily tasks involve dealing with customers who are relationship managers support and making sure we offer a great customer service. this can be done over phone or via tasks that are sent into us. Also i carry out certain checks and reports ensuring customers accounts are in the best possible position and that customers are aware. on a daily basis i communicate with my team and relationship managers internally and customers and other businesses externally. my responsibilities are to ensure the customer gets the best possible service from us.
i believe i have became extremly confident when talking to individuals and having to get my point across and also learnt plenty of new skills which will definitely help me in the years to come within this job role and help me succeed throughout the bank.
i enjoy my programme a huge amount as i am learning however getting the valuable on the job experience. As i am very new to this i have taken strong interest in everything i do and believe that although in recent years the bank has had its problems, we are now looking up and succeding.
I feel extremely valued by the RBS group as they have given me reponsibilities and also make sure i am aware of everything on offer to me. They also offer great learning internally and externally and i have been able to go to events and communicate with numerous people throughout the bank.
i believe it is very organised, we had an introduction week with BPP who we study with and are our learning providers as well as a great introduction into the bank keeping us updated with all the latest news. I believe there is a very good line between are studying and on the job experience
We recieve support through online learning, as well as our assesors coming into are place of work for one to one training which is very usefull. i believe we recieve good support in all circumstances.
Again, the support we recieve is indeniably very good as they let us tell them when i think i can progresss through different stages. My Line manageris very good for giving me this support and offering great guidence helping increase my knowldge within the bank.
i believe for a starting apprentice, my wage is very kind.
there are few oppurtunities for me outside of work relating to the job, however we do go on team nights out and also through my learning provider BPP i have recently recieved an email stating i can join certain clubs and societies. therefore infact, it is very good for sociable interaction.

Because for me, it was a great alternative to university.
