I am a software developer. I work on projects that require a certain level of clearance. I tend to use a lot of spreadsheets and unix systems. I enjoy the work I do as I learn a lot from it.
I have learnt time management skills, learnt to use Java and SQL. Have been learning about Hadoop and big data. I am learning a lot on the apprenceship.
I like the work I do, I enjoy that I get travel instead of being in just one place. I enjoy the team I work with and we work hard but as also keep moral up by having a few jokes to lighten the mood.
I feel quite valued at Capgemini considering I have only been here for almost a year now.
It is very well structured however there have been some problems due to the fact that two of my assessors for QA had left so it caused a delay.
From my current assessor I get a lot of support from her. She is very helpful and has said that I should email her should I have any issues.
I receive good support from my employer. He has messaged to make sure things are going well. He replies quickly should I have questions about anything.
Salary so far does meet my costs. I would like to hopefully get a pay rise soon. I am working hard to get it.
There a loads of opportunities outside of work. I do a few of the voluntary projects outside of work that are provided/. It is fun and educational.
Yes
I think it is a great opportunity and they give so much it is fantastic.
To do the best you can in the assessment and interview and show your interest which will make a big difference.
