I am a software engineer. I perform data integration and analysis as a consultant. Internally, I must update my timesheet and expenses claims. Currently I have no external interactions but later on in my apprenticeship I will be meeting clients.
I have developed my skills in programming heavily. I have become more comfortable when interacting in a professional environment. I have also been sent on a number of more specialised training courses to train me in the use of specific software solutions.
The company is very nurturing of its new hires, especially apprentices. The work itself is interesting and cutting-edge.
Pretty damn valued
The structure to begin with is very solid, as is the academic part of the programme, but the transition from training to project is bumpy.
While at a training course, a lot, the rest of the time, less
Monthly checkups are all that is really necessary. We have a mentor in case of any further need
Company costs are expensed, and the wage is high for an apprentice

Very good course and a great company to work for with regards to growth
Don't focus on the technical side - you'll get trained in that. Be an interesting and pleasant person
