My role is to provide support for pre-implemented systems into client accounts. Daily the account I work on has a DSTUM where the whole team, senior to junior, come together to discuss any pre-existing workload.
My job has allowed me to enhance my written communication. Other skills like organisation and time management have been worked on because my work load needs to be managed and with the work load you must ensure that you do not breech the time the work should be completed by.
I enjoy my program as the team I work with are always happy to help me with any questions i have, and Capgemini make it easy to speak to the seniors. The company culture exceeded my expectations as everyone who works at Capgemini enjoys their job.
I feel valued by my company because any tasks that I carry out, if they are more out of the usual, my managers would always thank me.
The training was well structured, and other work that needs to be completed is also well structured. If I do have any questions, I am able to go to my assessor and ask him any questions, whenever I need.
I receive enough support to be confident enough to carry out the work myself. The guidance, if unclear, are always explained in further detail if need be.
I receive a high level of support from my employer. If I am ever stuck my mentor is always there to help. If my mentor doesn't know the answer to my question she would always ask someone that does.
My salary just meets my costs. However, I am happy with my pay because Capgemini pay for me to complete my degree.
There are opportunites outside of work. I have attended 3 careers fairs this year, and have had a chance to meet with the UK chairman of the company.
