i am an apprentice in corporate documentation and operations. My job involves creating documention for relationship managers to take to customer meetings for execution. I will be trained up in more processes over time.
I am studying for a SVQ level 3 during my apprenticeship. I am learning new skills everyday including people skills, business skills, computer skills and communication.
My programme is full of opportunities especially for a school leaver looking for a career it is a great programme. The opportunities are endless and I love the fact that I am confident around the other apprentices due to the boot camp that we went on.
RBS makes you feel valued as a member of staff and not just a school leaver looking for money and work experience. You are treated fairly amongst everyone else in the team and arent given the crappy jobs.
The programme is structured but could be improved. I think this is because this programme is new to the RBS group itself it will take a while to see improvements over time.
BPP are supportive, could be improvements but again this comes down to it being a new programme.
My line manager is very supportive.
Nobody will ever say they couldnt do with a bigger salary but I still feel it is a well paid apprenticeship compared to others on the market.
Not sure what this means..
Yes
Great opportunities, salary paid and qualification earned.
Be yourself. Define your strengths and stress them enough to your employer. Show your personality and some humour and your willingness to provide to the department.
