I am an electrical maintenance apprentice, my role involves carrying out electrical maintenance.
Yes I have learnt new skills throughout my apprenticeship and have also developed existing skills.
I do enjoy my apprenticeship however I do feel that it lacks some direction sometimes.
I don't feel particularly valued by eDF as an individual.
Organisation of the apprenticeship could be better, I feel like oppurtunitys advertised can be some what misleading.
I do receive plenty of support from my training provider there are no problems there.
My employer is my training provider so the above answer relates to this question.
The salary is very good for an apprentice I am very pleased with this, however I will be having to pay for my own further education at £3k a year.
I play football with a team from work regularly other than this no.
Yes
Good company to work for, well paid job with plenty of annual holiday good working environment and good work in general. Only thing is currently at my particular station money is not being so heavily invested into apprentices and their further education which is disappointing to me.
Revise for the job role you are applying for, be keen and interested in the business, learn about the company.
