I am training to be an electrical technician. It is my role to learn as much as possible from senior technicians and college lectururers and apply this in my work.
I have completed a btec level 2, PE0 and NVQ level 3. I have developed my basic skills as an electrical technician apprentice and applied them in a working enviroment.
I have enjoyed the program and feel like I have learned a lot.
I feel a valued and important member of the hams hall community
The program is perfectly structured to allow you to learn all relavant aspects of the company and get to know everyone.
My training provider helps me with any quiries I have and always looks to make sure I am progressing well.
I recieve all the neccassary support from my employer for all aspects of my apprentiship such as time to complete college and NVQ work and providing the neccassary training required for the jobs I will be doing.
The Salary/package meets my costs very well allowing me to run a car, save a good amount and have an active social life.
There are many opportunities to do activities outside of work such as the mountain challenge. You can be called to represent the company at local schools and colleges. There are many social and leisure activities avaiulble organised between employees such as five-a-side football
Yes
It is a company that looks after its employees, It is a good working enviroment where you can progress through the company with hard work and dedication. It is the future of vehicle manufacture and will be one of the leading companies for many years to come.
My advice for anyone applying to BMW would be to get as much expirience in the field as possible for example work expirience which will further your knolledge of the industry. For the assessment stage be punctual, honest and clear about what you can offer to the company.
