My roles involves shadowing the maintenance engineers around the areas. it also involves reseting of faults, programming of robots, stripping and rebuilded of tools and equipment
i have learnt how to weld, gas cutting and machine as well as improved my grinding skills and fault finding.
it ranges on a day to day as some days it can be very bus and you learn alot while others can be quite and drag sligthly.
i feel well valued
depends on the are although overall it is well structured and organised
i am well supported on btec days (monday and tuesday) by the tutors however they are unavailable for the rest of the week.
i get on well with the employeers and they are constantly trting to allow me to improve my skills
Money is very good for apprentices and the option of the car scheme which is a nice perk.
