my role involves shadowing various peopple within the company and taking on more resposibilty as time goes on. this takes place during a six week period
i have learnt how to do basic machineing skills aswell as drastically improving my maths skills and my project planning skills. the development that i expreienced to begin with was superb
my programme is fairly enjoyable, however it doesnt feel particulary wwell organised and i feel the programme could do witha lot of reform.
I do not fee particulary valued by the company at all, I feel as if I am viewed as an apprentice and am just a hinderance and am not utilised at all.
As mentioned above i do not feel as though the programme is well organised what so ever. i feel as though it needs a lot of reform in terms of support.
I do not recieve very much support at all. if i am struggling thier is nothing i can do to get extra support. and a lot of the work is piurely self study.
I do not recieve very much support at all.if i am finding that there are any problems with a placement i pretty much have to just get on with it.
my salary does not meet my costs as I live on my one and trying to afford to live on a salary of only 15000 is not very realistic in this area.
There are opportunities outside of work however i have not been made aware of these and do not no how to apply to participate in any of these.
No
I feel that as a company the work ethic isnt particulary positive and people are encouarged to not have much of a life outside of work, leading to an unealthy balance.
I would advise people applying to the BMW Group to make sure that they are ready to commit 100 percent to the apprenticeship scheme and to save as much money as they can as they will need it.
