As a year 2 management apprentice I am part of the management team so have responsibility for smooth running of the store. This could be due diligence checks, cash management, running breaks or checking deliveries have been checked. It's fast paced but that's what makes it all the better
I've learnt a lot about myself. My self confidence has improved massively as well as my management style, you see what works well and what doesn't and you adapt.
I love my programme. Everyday is different. I can speak to my assessor, store manager or area manager if I have any issues. They are all approachable and will help if they can.
I feel really valued and treated like a manager. I'm paid really well for an apprenticeship which is an added bonus.
I'm going to be totally honest, the first year wasn't very due to a few issues with training providers. My second year has been very organised I know roughly where I should be and when
I receive a lot of help. If I have any issues I can get in contact easily
A lot of support is given by Aldi. If I need help it's given. If I am struggling with something it will be worked on to develop that area.
Very well. I get an excellent wage for an apprenticeship
We go on occasional nights out but it would to good to have a catch-up with other apprentices
Yes
They are a good company to work for and there is always the ability to develop
Be prepared to work hard and stick with it the rewards will be amazing at the end
