Audit associate: In-charging audit jobs. Preparing accounts. Interacting with peers, managers, partners and clients.
Currently training with ACCA for an accounting qualification and an accounting degree. Have attended many internal courses to be able to fulfil my job role. Developed personal skills within the professional working environment.
Enjoy my job role, working as part of a team on a daily basis and interacting with many different clients.
There is internal recognition albeit not used as much as it should be.
There was a buddy scheme when first starting, which allowed the new starter to have a 'go - to' person. Have day leave to be able to attend college, Kaplan, for the ACCA qualification. There was a national induction with all new starters, including graduates.
Kaplan allows you to gain material from the website, interactive questions and mock days, as well as face to face tuition. If there is struggle within the tuition, the tutor will make an effort to help.
Line manager is interested within the results that you receive for exams. If there are any issues, employer will direct you to the correct person to guide you.
Due to living with parents, the salary meets the cost of living.
There are many clubs and social events provided by work to be involved in, it is a personal preference whether to volunteer for these activities or not.
