I didn't have a specific role, but everyday was filled with different activities such as work shadowing and doing team activities. On the first day we were put in teams to make a presentation about the case study. It was really fun also we had a chance to learn about each sector and network with associates.
We learnt about what makes a good application and CV and how to obtain a training contract. The experience helped me to develop my communication skills and also helped me with my presentation skills through the work shop provided.
I enjoyed the programme very much each day was different and I loved everyone there. The firm's culture was really welcoming and down to earth I felt like I can talk to anyone from the partners to the associates.
I feel really valued by the firm, everyone had a smile on their face and answered all my questions well. Even in teams we all worked together to get the best result.
The first day we were given a sheet which had everything we were going to do in that week. Everything was really clear and we all had tremendous amount of support.
We were given a lot of support. The training provider was always there for us whenever we needed to ask for anything it would be answered. We were even given their email so we can contact them anytime.
Everyone at the firm really wanted everyone to do their best. They really valued your opinion and questions. Everyone was really happy to speak to us and wanted to help us any way they could.
It was only for a week, therefore It wasn't a paid work experience. But travel reimbursement was paid for.
Yes loads. The company holds lots of events for their associates and takes part in a lot of pro bono work.
Yes
It was such an amazing work experience everyone at the firm really valued my opinions and made me feel apart of the firm straight away. Everyday was a different day and I learnt a lot of new skills.
Be yourself and be very enthusiastic. Demonstrate your skills to them in your application and assessment days, ask lots of questions, make sure your CV is correct with no spelling errors and have minimum 3 A grades in A levels.
