Working in Audit I visit different companies in a variety of sectors and industries and test the numbers on their accounts to ensure that they are reporting the correct numbers. I work in different teams and sometimes get to stay away from home as part of my work.
I have completed the AAT and am now studying for the ACA. I have attended external and internal training course regarding my work and also my firm and personal development. I have developed strong excel and also written skills and learnt a lot about the accountancy profession
I really enjoy my team and the company culture. In terms of my expectations it met some of them but the work itself can be at times be quite dull but then again the good bits out way these. The social scene is great
There are lots of schemes that make me feel valued. We can receive Clearr points for good work which becomes money to spend. I am appreciated by team members and my line manager and the culture around this is really good.
Good induction and lots of training. The AAT qualification is well structured along with the ACA. There are lots of meeting for support and a good appraisal system. Well organised in general
Lots from Kaplan, learning materials and guidance. I really enjoyed college and the attitudes of the tutors
Guidance is generally pretty good, lots of people to talk to and support there is needed
First two years were quite hard but the pay does then dramatically increase
Lots of social activities, events, big Christmas party
Yes
Good tart and good qualification. Good company to work for
