Currently I am an advised team manager within mortgages tier 2 and my role is to manage a team of eight advised mortgage advisors as well as perform a varity of roles such as my lead role in Operational metrics and Growth and development lead for the crew.
I have learnt to improve my writing skills because of the workbook we had to complete during this course. Also I have my ability to explain vast amounts of information has improved and because the instructor was not a LBG employee I have had to do this in a basic format which has helped in interview situations
I enjoyed the apprenticeship programme hugely and found the work book especially interesting because it meant I had a good foundation for writing examples when it came to my mid and end of year reviews. The mid-year event I also found very enjoyable
I feel that Lloyds really does a lot for myself and my peers because of the amount of learning it offers to its staff. People who have little or no qualifications can now get recognised qualifications which I think shows the value Lloyds puts in its staff.
I found the programme really well structured throughout which was excellent to see and I found the fact that the instructor could analyse my day to day role and be able to mark a wide variety of sections off as complete very quickly.
I have been given a tremendous amount of support to complete my apprenticeship programme which has been excellent to see and the instructor is always excellent at providing feedback on my examples.
My employer has been excellent by giving me time to work on my examples during my development time and also allowing me the time to meet my instructor monthly. Also I had my rota day of rearranged so that I could attend the mid year event but also still have a day off.
My salary and total reward package I feel is very competitive for the role I fulfil and especially I feel the mortgage offer we have available to staff is quite appealing.
I rarely look outside Lloyds banking group for jobs but I find from speaking to people within the company that the CeMAP qualification I hold does offer a lot of potential for different jobs in a professional background
Yes
I feel the atmosphere that Lloyds has created to work for is excellent and have already recommended and referred people to work as I find it is a job where you can really make a difference to people's lives. Some call centre environments people do not have pride in working in but I find lloyds has created an environment that people can be proud to work for.
To really invest everything in the company in terms of your skills and attributes because the rewards you can get in terms of financial package and also career progression are absolutely amazing
