I am a Team Manager but currently seconded in to a Trainer role for Connect. My day at the moment consists of training new to bank colleagues to take phone calls on a range of skills and also upskilling existing employees to take new or further skills.
I have developed my own skills through the apprenticeship and worked on feedback given from my assessor. This includes confidence in creating and presenting to new and existing colleagues and thinking about how my skills can be translated to different job roles.
I enjoy the programme, I think it is worth doing as you get an externally recognised qualification for free. It has also helped me understand more about the business and how my experience is beneficial to the business.
I feel valued by LBG. I think it is a good company to work for and you get a lot of benefits for working for the company which is good as it makes staff feel valued.
The programme is well structured. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] keeps me up to date with when my meetings are and what preparation I need to do. We always plan the next meeting in advance and I feel prepared.
I receive plenty of support, I know I can go to [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] if I am not sure on something or need further advice. I feel comfortable approaching [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] if I need anything.
My employer doesnt really get involved in the apprenticeship at all. Whenever my assessor has to get a witness testimony I am made to write up what they should say.
I would like more money because I have completed the level 2 apprenticeship and am on track to complete my level 3 in the next few months and feel this should be recognised.
To do what? I really dont understand this question but know that I need to write at least 2 lines but it is really hard to do that if you dont even understand the question.
Yes
I think it is really fair in terms of charges and overall they want to be the best bank for customers. I think they are focussed on helping customers and resolving anything that does go wrong.
You can make a career out of it if you work hard. Make sure you engage with stakeholders and realise that there is more than just the section of the bank that you work in.
