My role within Lloyds Banking Group is a customer advisor within the customer support team. I assist with queries via telephone and e-mails on a daily basis and aim to resolve within a set SLA depending on the nature of the query. I also pass entries on PBS and make amendments to customer accounts to rectify any errors.
I feel that throughout my apprentice programme, I have developed a number of key skills such as communication, organisation and it has also boosted confidence.
During my time of doing the apprenticeship with LBG, I have enjoyed taking on extra work and completing this in my own time as I feel it has improved my organisational skills.
I feel as though I am very valued by the bank and have been given an excellent opportunity by doing this programme. I also feel that they provide a lot of support and assistance in terms of allocating time to complete the work.
I feel the programme is well organised as we are always told a month in advance when our next visit is going to be. We are also given deadlines of when to complete the workbooks which enables us to challenge ourselves to get this done.
I feel my training provider has provided lots of support and always replies to e-mails/texts if I require any assistance. If I do not understand a quesiton she has asked me, she always ensures she explains further.
I feel that the bank provide the relevant support for us to complete our work. We are provided with an hour a month and we then also get chance when we are having quiet periods.
I feel that as an apprentice the salary we recieve is fair. I would like to work my way up to a career within lloyds and recieve a bigger salary and package,
I feel there are many opportunities outside of work, such as 'day to make a difference'. This is where the bank will support us to complete a day of our choice making a difference for a charity. This is an excellent thing to do and really helps the community.
Yes
I feel that LBG is an excellent place to work and I am proud to work here. I also feel it offers many opportunities to progress within the bank and there are lots of different sectors to experience.
My advice would be to always ensure you can provide lots of examples to back up answers in the interview as the framework marks you on your judgement, exectuion, drive and intelligence.
