Audit associate Review

Audit Associate - Daily tasks include going out to clients auditing the financial statements, carrying out testing on the balances within the financial statements, reporting to management, completing our audit programme, reporting procedures.

I have obtained my AAT qualification and I am now working towards my ACCA to become a chartered certified accountant. I attend college to study for my exams, as well as training courses on various software we use and keeping up to date with accounting standards.

I thoroughly enjoy my role at Grant Thornton and want to pursue my career here.

Feel valued for the work that I do - have received bonus and managers have shown their appreciation verbally. We also complete job appraisals which the manager makes comments on what they think you did well etc

Very organised structure. Lots of support for studying, regular meetings with line manager and also have appraisal annually and an interim appraisal.

Excellent support from my training provider - offers additional help and tutoring if I need it.

Good support from my manager but not much support from HR
