I perform tasks related to Information Security that involves interaction with customers as well as regularly generating reports to provide for account managers
I have learned how to use different programs as well as my core skills, including my communication skills.
I enjoy my programme to an extent that I have learned how to work in an office environment and interact and co-operate in a working environment along with fellow colleagues.
I feel in a sense I am appreciated in regards to my ability to perform the tasks that I have been assigned.
My programme is reasonably strucutred. However, due to the appreniceship programme being in its early stages, there has been alot of confusion, meaning there was a lack of support or fixed structure.
Regarding my accounts, as part of my working experience, there has been an acceptable amount of support and guidance regarding what procedures are required in order to complete my tasks. However, there was a lack of explanation in regards to my course work, meaning that a lot of my course work was open to interpretation, varying for each apprentice
My employer has provided guidelines and assistance to the best of their ability regarding immediate issues and accounts. There has been a lack of future prospects and career paths however, leaving the end of the apprenticeship open and unclear.
The current salary meets my current needs regards to travelling costs and current living costs.
There is occasional events outside of work, however, a lot of the events take place a considerable distance away from the current workplace. There is however, opportunities of going to sports centers and gyms during lunchtimes, in which lunches may be extended, as long as the time is made up at a later date.
