I work in a fast paced team in which I get to test my ability and learn new things everyday, whilst providing excellent customer care on the Atos PIP contract. I use my IT knowledge to help me do my job on a daily basis,
I have developed all of my current skills, and have managed to learn a lot more including how to express myself in a workplace. My team working skills were good before I started but now I feel extremely comfortable with my ability of working in a busy team.
I feel challenged by my apprenticeship and know that I am always learning and developing myself. I feel like I always have something interesting to do, and overall I enjoy my apprenticeship.
I feel very valued by the company, which is shown in many ways. The company have allowed me to travel all around the UK in my first 6 months, and they give me many important duties which satisfy my development needs.
My apprenticeship is split into a role within Atos, and a learning side with QA. I have a very structured time amount to my apprenticeship, where I get to choose a block of my working week where I get to complete my apprenticeship work.
I have an assessor who I work with and I can contact any time, and I have meetings with every 6 weeks. I can ask him any problems I have with my work and receive replies quickly.
I get 6 hours a week of time in work to complete my apprenticeship units, which I feel is enough to get my work done. I can sit down with my manager at any time I need to discuss any problems I have.
My costs in petrol to and from work are covered well by my wage, and my car payments are also covered. Not comfortably but they are suitable for a one year apprenticeship. Ok.
Atos don't provide many opportunities outside of work in my area, but in work I have many opportunities that I can use. I am taking part in the Brathay challenge which is providing me with many opportunities.
Yes
It is a company that has many opportunities for progression, in lots of different countries and service lines. The apprenticeship scheme is very well paid compared to others in my area.
Be yourself and you will find a job you really enjoy and that challenges you. You will have lots of opportunities to progress so work your hardest and put your all into your job.
