My role in a day to day basis is being a software engineers and or software consultant. Day to day im either in charge or certain roles and or support other colleagues in certain roles
i have learnt a massive variety of skils on the job
I feel i am treated as an apprentice and below everyone, the programme is also very poorly structred and has changed massivley since i have joined
I feel mediumly valued, but talked down to by colleagues, rules apply to us that dont apply to normal staff
Very unstructured
i support a lot of support from QA
I receive a medium amount of support
In contrast to travel it is not enough, travel is 1/3 of my pay, and i do not get paid enough to actualy live in London. Also i do jobs similar to people who are paid a lot more than me. But im aware i get paid a lot for an apprentice.
There are limited opportunities as the company do not reach down to us to do things outside of work.
Yes
the pay is good for an apprentice but only if you live rent free in the middle of london with your parents or anyone who cares for you
If you want to be notcied, be knowledgable and be confident infront of employers. The course is unstructured, but you do get a lot of free skills and a free degree.
