Yes, there isn't a day here at Arup where I don't learn something new, whether it being my worked based or learning about other roles.
From coming out of a school environment, I wouldn't think of going back or moving companies. My team are always willing to help and have time to spare to teach me new things. The company, Arup, couldn't improve on how they've treat me as they're so welcoming and the office environment is brilliant.
Here at Arup, I feel valued from all my team and my managers, as well as building client based relationships whom I feel value me.
My Apprenticeship scheme is very well organised, my tutor visits every month and sets out the work needed to be completed for the next visit giving a clear deadline and due date. My Line Manager also verifies my work and on some units rates and writes about my competence to meet the specification needed.
As above... I also know if I have any questions about work set I can give me tutor a call or email. I've recently completed my NVQ 5 months earlier than giving, showing that both line manager and training providers have pushed me to potential enabling me to finish as early as I have.
My manager give me as much support as I need but also leaves me to have independence which I believe has helped me massively to progress in my work based knowledge My work colleagues also help me with any problems with work then my line managers helps with anything above.
My salary I feel is great for my age and costs on a month to month basis.
The Sports and Social committee organise many events for the whole office and they also have events for the whole region which helps teams and offices socialise with each other which helps to build working relationships
Yes
They're a great company that give you many opportunities whether working in other roles/ offices countries or out of office activates.
Make your CV stand out to hopefully get to the interview stage
