Yes, various new pieces of software e.g. microstation, FME, Navisworks and autocad. I have been able to attend many different training courses both internally and externally.
it has been a very enjoyable experience and have been involved in some exciting projects! Everyone who works here is very friendly and easy to get along with. the company has definitely exceeded my expectations!
Managers are very high in praise and are sure to let you know when you have done a good job, they are very interested in making sure that you have a good involvement in projects whilst making sure the necessary support is there!
it was a little bit slow at going at the start but that was probably down to an influx of people starting at the same time, overall is very well organised and everyone knows who they are working with.
alot of support is received if you ask for it, always willing to help, from speaking to previous apprentices the training provider has vastly improved from previous years now we have changed to a different one.
a lot of support is received, very proactive when issues occur with college, also receive plenty of support around the workplace by anyone, everyone is always willing to help
definitely one of the better paid apprenticeships out there, very easy to live on, I drive to work daily and still have plenty of money left over to socialise!
plenty of opportunities are offered outside of work, both with things relating to civil engineering and team bonding sessions (e.g. various sports activities, team weekends away and social activities)
Yes
