Working alongside feature teams and members of the customer's business in order to provide a range of software to the client. I am mainly tasked with carrying out testing on the software, whilst also having the potential to be working within the software development itself.
After joining the apprenticeship with no prior knowledge of software development or working in IT, I am now able to function as a key member of the team I am on. I have developed my abilities in languages such as Java, SQL, HTML and CSS, whilst exploring new technologies regularly.
I enjoy every aspect of my apprenticeship; being able to learn new skills and physically apply them within my work on a daily basis enhances my learning experience. Similarly, I can work alongside colleagues in order to further my skills, and have support readily available whenever I require.
Even as a new-joiner, I am considered a key member of any team I join. Support is available at all times, for any query I may have, whilst I am also provided with the same training opportunities as any other member of Capgemini.
Very well. I am consistently provided with relevant roles and training, and can easily contact the necessary individuals whenever I require any support.
Whenever I require support, my assessor is available to call or email. I also attend monthly meetings with my assessor, in order to ensure I understand my apprenticeship work fully at all times.
I am in constant contact with my team leads and manager, whilst also having numerous methods of contacting said individuals or HR whenever I require.
My salary allows for me to rent my own flat without issue, whilst also having money to spend on myself almost too regularly!
Company events are regular, whilst social events within the project teams often occur. Similarly, members of Capgemini often take part in charity events, and others are prompted to do so should they desire.

Be yourself, and be honest about your knowledge in the field. Capgemini strive to support every apprentice they employ, ensuring that the individual feels entirely comfortable and confident in their field of work.
