  • 4. How valued do you feel by Capgemini?
  • I feel valued as an apprentice as we are reminded regularly that our feedback is important to the business however I am aware that I am a small chain in a large corporation. Capgemini have been known to reward apprentices and indeed all staff when they have exceeded themselves in an area of work.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The apprenticeship is still very new, being a five year program nobody at this point has finished, this means that there are some teething problems some aspects of the program are still being aligned while communication down to apprentice level and complete transparency on what is happening to the program is needed. The induction and training at the start of the programme was very well organised and extremely beneficial.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer is very supportive they take a deep interest in how I am getting on within project and are prepared to provide training where it is relevant and useful to me. • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • While it costs me £218 to travel to work for a month and cost of living (rent, bills, food) I am left with a small amount. While i feel there my salary should be aligned more closely with the work I am doing, I also bare in mind that my training and degree is paid for. I do however feel that pay for apprentices based in London should have their pay aligned to the higher cost of living.

    4/10
