I am located at one of Capgemini's top 5 clients in the UK where I am responsible for supporting the SAP Enterprise Portal, creating new content and roles; and ensuring the application is fit-for-purpose. I'm also involved with ABAP development work, making changes to SAPscript forms, programs, reports, and BAdIs; across their SAP ERP, BI, SRM, and PI applications.
Creating SAPscript forms, programs, reports, and BAdIs; across their SAP ERP, BI, SRM, and PI applications. I also learnt new skills in SQL, JAVA, BI, Python and project management.
I enjoy working as a team so that we can provide the highest quality service to our clients. This allows me to gain valuable work experience.
Capgemini have a scheme dedicated to apprentices so that each individual is appreciated for the good work they have done. Each employee is awarded appropriately.
The program is very well organised and continues to improve year on year. The apprentice and graduate team are always on hand to offer useful advice so that you can fulfil your job role with Capgemini to its optimum.
I completed my degree with QA apprentices. They could do with improving their process. Reviewers can be lazy.
I receive a huge amount of support from my current project team allowing me to gain a greater skill set. The lead developer I work with is always showing me news skills which allow me to improve.
The salary system is very generous at Capgemini to start off with allowing apprentices to fly up the wage scale. The system could be improved by a more detailed review system.
There is a huge amount of opportunity outside of work to get involved with company events. Internal email's are always being sent around offering opportunity to employee's so that you can get involved with charity work.
