Cyber Risk Analyst - create risk reports looking at different banking systems and analyzing how cyber secure they are, training staff on cyber risk and resilience,
matured, communication, respect, skills with numbers, technical skills, I have learned to be professional and developed my corporate polish.
Teams have been great, have had issues with changing managers multiple times, would like it to be easier to rotate out of a role you don't enjoy. company culture is great - support for everyone, facilitators are only an email away and help where possible,
currently - not very as my role is not one I fit in - therefore the work I am given has been very basic and not enjoyable. In previous roles I have been given great tasks to get stuck into and have been given free reign to develop what I need to. My managers have always provided great appreciation for the work I do and have been great to me.
Program is well structured: Boot camp for 2 weeks gives insight into what the company does, there is lots of training to be completed, we have support from apprenticeship team,
training provider are only an email away - my skills coach is perhaps better at replying than others. Sometimes with other members from our skills provider you have to chase them up or copy in senior members of staff to get a speedy reply when booking exams etc. Tutors are all very good and always offer their email address if we need to contact them,
Lots of support - different methods such as mentor, HR, manager all very supportive and helpful. I have got myself a mentor who supports me when needed
Personally it meets me ok. However I feel if I had moved from home I would struggle to survive on this wage. Some of my colleagues do it and I appreciate it is a high level of money for an apprenticeship however I think after tax and rent (I pay £250 and have to pay for food at home) which probably costs £400 all together plus car expenses and gym etc there is not a lot left over at the end of the month for everything else. I appreciate also that there is a cap over what can be paid therefore I do not have an issue with the pay.
Many company events, volunteering, travel opportunities, summer sports events, pub quizzes, Multiple opportunities to meet people from the firm such as career development opportunities
Yes
Great recommendation, great way to get foot in the door without a degree, develops you as a person, I think my experience of multiple managers and uncertainty is not the usual one and therefore others would have a great time,
go in with an open mind, jump in with 2 feet, be confident, ask questions, know what you want to do,
