I am a virgin media engineer dealing with both installs and service calls.
I have learnt how to cope with increased pressure by setting smaller goals and working up to where i need to be.
I really enjoy my job and will hopefully have room to progress
I feel valued by virgin media. I am made to feel part of the team and do my best to help with figures. I have meetings with my manager to advise where i could improve and what i am doing well
The training is ok but most of the learning came from going to jobs with mentors and learning as we go. We have been given the opportunity to learn the job by starting on lower quota and working up to full quota so we get a chance to make mistakes and learn from them
I receive ongoing support by my managers and other members of the team. this helps me to become a better tech and in turn helps the company

I just get by with the salary as i am older than most the apprentices and have a mortgage. I took the job knowing this but looked at where i could end up not where i start.
Yes there are always talk of charity events and we are about to arrange one.
Yes
its a good place to work, a job for life unless you do something you shouldnt and room to progress
I would advise to do some research on the company. If you have virgin media have a play with the services so you can impress people and most importantly be yourself. If you have never done this type of work before it doesnt matter. they can see potential and help you achieve goals
