Whilst undertaking the role, I answered complex queries regarding the day to day running of business accounts for Lloyds banking group. this was done over the phone and involved dealing with queries, handling complaints as well as lending and account reviews.
throughout my apprenticeship, I learned to focus on a number of skills and helped my communication through greater understanding of these aspect to my role. It also encouraged me to look further into a number of aspects of my role including additional legislation and how the bank sets out its business proposal to its customers.
I really enjoyed the program, I was able to learn and develop in my role whilst remaining in a working environment. I also had the opportunity to visit 2 seminars which allowed me to take a step back from my role and think about how the apprenticeship would benefit me.
I feel valued by llodys banking group and always have done since starting with the company back in 2007. I have undertaken many different roles within the company and feel my depth of knowledge and my attitude towards my work has always been appreciated and rewarded.
the programme was well structured. An initial meeting regarding the programme set out what was to be expected and how much work was involved. regular meetings and updates with my assesspr also kept me on track and meant I was always infored of events and tolls at my disposal.
my training provider was always willing to provide support and made it clear that if I had any questions or concerns, that i could e-mail or call her at amy time for guidance. she really helped throughout the programme
My employer provided time for me to complete some of the work for the programme during my normal working time. they also funded trips to birmingham to support the programme and allow me to visit suitable seminars and conferences to supplement my progress within the training environment
I think my salary is a little under what I would like to be paid for the conrtibution I make to my work. Despite this I am able to cover my living costs and save regularly at my current salary.
there are plenty of things available outside work, there are often quiz or comedy evenings held nearby and other sports groups also involved including a football team.
