I work on the Kids Marketing team working on Thunderbirds Are Go. My everyday role varies but I mostly help manage the brand and help on the digital marketing side of things so keeping our Facebook, twitter and Instagram updated.
Since working here I have learned so many new things and I still am learning. I am fully qualified on Ibuisness, Excel, power point etc.
I really enjoy this apprenticeship. I love being able to work but still learning at the same time. ITV is a great company to work for and the tutors are really supportive.
Working for ITV is great, my team is even greater. My line manager gives me a lot of responsibilities which makes me feel like I am contributing to our brand and not just an assistant.
This programme is very well structured. From week one we had an induction week with all of the apprentices and then we properly started our role. I get time once a week to do my course work which helps and I meet with my tutor quite often.
Whenever I see my tutor he is very helpful and asks me how my role is going. He also helps me a lot with my course work if I have any questions.
My team are great and will help me with whatever I need. They understand that I need time to do my apprenticeship work and are always willing to help me.
The salary of an apprentice is never great, because we work in London we get a little extra. However, we are still not left with a great amount after paying for things like travel. The experience is great though so it's worth it.
Working on the Southbank is amazing. The view from the office is great. You can also go for a walk on your lunch break and see the London Eye. There are gyms, and cool restaurants.
Yes
I would recommend ITV to a friend as it's a great place to work and you learn so much. There are also loads of opportunities within the building.
If you're considering applying I would say be yourself. They are laid back here and just want someone who is passionate and who can get the job done.
