I am an associate in audit. Daily tasks involve undertaking various aspects of standard external audits and assurance assignments
Studying towards AAT qualification with the intention of progressing onto ACA. Communication skills and IT skills have increased exponentially since joining.
Good team culture within audit trainees as all are either in the same situation as you or recently have been and are always available for help and advice.
Good internal recognition system in place to ensure you are rewarded when you perform over and above what is requested of you.
Regular work is planned around taking 1 day a week of study leave worked at Kaplan.
The support received from the training provider is satisfactory, and available on request.
Managers are busy but will make time for you if you need specific support. Overall, there is a good supportive atmosphere within the firm.
