Very much so - the team is very helpful, the work is interesting and the responsibility is motivating.
I have received excellent feedback and feel thoroughly integrated into the team.
Being on the pilot scheme there were a lot of teething issues. It is fantastic now and I understand the program has improved dramatically for new drafts.
Support is available usually when required or at least in the same week.
Support is very easily found as long as you seek it out when needed.
The salary is decent although it would be a stretch to cover all living costs if living alone - I live with my fiance so we share costs but we do have fudns left at the end of the month and are able to save.
Typically there is something exciting coming up every 4-6 weeks and normally something in the diary. A lot of it you must seek out though.
Yes
There has been a massive culture change and while things are still stretched and issues can arise, it is clear that things will get better over the next few years.
Be motivated and show that you want to contribute to rebuilding the Bank. The online tests were hard but I don't think you need a great mark to get through - I can't have got more than 40% seriously! Assessment days are actually good fun if you relax about them - group exercise then role play then interview, all pretty straightforward. My interviewer is now my manager so be sure to impress and they'll fight for you.
