  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a Project Assistant working in Digital on a Programme involving customer data. My role at LBG involves working in PMO to book meeting rooms, organise meetings, record actions and manage those actions, manage timesheets, help with weekly status reporting and CMT reporting. I have also created a stakeholder management plan and written and presented a proposal for a more effecive Induction Day.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have developed my communication and interpersonal skills which has helped me become a more confident and assertive team member. I have also developed my organisation and time management skills which are essential PM qualities. I have also learnt to be more resillint and positive when things go wrong - it doesn't matter how many times you fall it's about picking yourself up and trying again, learning from your mistakes.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Lloyds Banking Group?
  • Currently, due to ill health I am not in the office full time and I have had to have alot of time off. Therefore, I am not feeling as valued as I was previously. However, once my responsibilities build back up again I'm sure I will feel like a valued team member again.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I would prefer the programme to be more structed, being quite a organised and methodical person I find it more difficult when training days/ workshops get cancelled or when there is a lack of communication or plan. However, I understand the need to be flexible.
