I am a first year Gas transmission apprentice for national grid. My job role will be working on mainline pipework that national grid maintain in zone E1 which covers yorkshire and humber.
I have become alot more accurate in all my work and have become compitent in my machine work.
I enjoy everything about my apprenticship because of the concentrated amount of learning in engineering.
I feel very valued because of the amount of confidece that surrounds me in the workplace.
The programme has been as well organised as it could have been and i think the structure is also very strong. I would has more time on site if i would change anything.
Anything I need or have problems with can be sorted by a phone call. I feel very comfortable in my job.

Yes
Because of the opportunity i have been given to have a strong career, the opportunity to save for a house at an early age, and a job that gives me confidence in myself.
Dont try to change yourself because if you are meant for this apprenticeship, you can easily succeed if you apply yourself.
