My role is classed as "overhead lines apprentice" it is my duty to repair and maintain certain aspects of a pylon depending on the work at hand.
I have been enrolled and completed many courses which i now will forever have under my belt to use in the future.
I enjoy the programme very much. It is not repetative which i really like and i always feel as if im moving in a positive direction.
I feel very valued at national grid i feel as if the company make it one of their priorities to take care of each employee.
My programme is very well structured i always know what i am doing and when.
I recieve alot of positive support from trainers and they go beyond their job role to deliver it.
My employer provides extensive amounts of support in every aspect.
My salary meets my costs very well.
NG provide many opportunities outside of work for employees who wish to enroll in them.

It is a very good company with many paths to go down and they provide a very good way of life for all employees.
